Bardangle Jewelry is the culmination of owner Barbara Kinney’s love
of fashion and desire to own her
own business. She
values the flexibility and independence that her own business provides and is excited to share that
opportunity with others.
Barbara
has always been interested in fashion and the latest trends. Her career began in the
fashion district of New York City.
Later, she pursued another passion—travel. She left fashion
briefly and went on
to work for an international airline. Her travels
with the airline gave her
the opportunity to cultivate her tastes and recognize
classic pieces that contain added
flair, each reflecting
the artisan’s or designer’s appreciation for beauty and details. After
many years, she left
the airline and
in 2005, Barbara began
to sell jewelry. This venture began part-time, just for fun.
As time went on, selling jewelry became more
than a part-time endeavor. In 2006, Barbara decided
to turn this into a full-time business and launched Bardangle Jewelry. To this day, Barbara carefully
handpicks each
item. She ensures that
each piece reflects that “certain something” that makes Bardangle Jewelry so special.
She continues to strive for quality and affordability with every addition to the
collection.
New Items In
addition to jewelry, Barbara continues to look for new and unique
accessories. In 2008, while on
vacation in Southeast Asia, she
found the beautiful silk bags and scarves that have become a great addition to the Bardangle line. They
are from small villages and are made using techniques and skills handed down
for generations.
Independent Sales Representatives Over
the years, Barbara has identified yet another passion—the
need to share her success
with other entrepreneurial woman. She hopes they all can enjoy the wonderful benefits
of being a successful business owner. Becoming an
Independent Sales Representative
is a fantastic way to start on your
path towards
achieving goals and beginning a rewarding, self-directed
career. Helping other women achieve these goals has become more fulfilling then Barbara could have ever imagined.
Charitable Contributions Barbara partners with the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition
(NOCC) and the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance (OCNA) to increase awareness of
ovarian cancer. As a survivor herself,
she is pleased to use her business
as a vehicle for
fundraising. Throughout the year, she
donates a portion of her sales to
these organizations.
